There’s a hidden Algarve, were besides the beautiful landscape, warm weather, you can also find hundreds of different bird species, without travel for miles. Algarve is the place where you can easily find hoopoes, azure-winged magpie in your backyard and storks having their nest on top of the old buildings.

Join us on a birding day in Algarve. In Ria Formosa and Castro Marim you can improve you sightings list with the Golden plover, Kentish plover, Little terns, Caspian tern or even the Audouin’s gull. On the fresh water lagoons, the Purple gallinule is the highlight of the day and the tour for the west coast gives you excellent views of red billed chough, shearwaters and gannets.
